About applying for an intra-company transfer permit

If you are transferred by your company to work at another branch which is located in South Africa, you must have an intra-company transfer permit to enter the country.

An intra-company transfer permit may be issued to a foreigner who is employed abroad by a business operating in South Africa in a branch, subsidiary or affiliated relationship and is required to conduct work in the republic.

The permit is valid for two years and cannot be extended.
