About re-registering in your new voting district
If you are a registered voter who has moved house, you must re-register in your new voting district. This will enable you to vote in the voting district where you live.
You can re-register at your local Electoral Commission (IEC) office or during public voter registration opportunities as announced by the IEC.

What you should do
-
You must go to the voting station in the voting district where you live during general voter registration opportunities
- complete the registration form
- register any time during business hours at your local office of the Electoral Commission (IEC)
- take your identity document (ID) with you
- the registration officer will attach a sticker in your ID with the voting district number on it. This is your proof that you have applied for registration.
- Please check to see if your details appear in the voting district for which you have registered.
Note: You are responsible for checking your details on the voters roll before an election.
