Description
The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) evaluates
educational qualifications obtained outside South Africa. People
with foreign qualifications who wish to attend South African
education institutions or who wish to enter the South African
labour market must apply to SAQA to have their qualifications
evaluated. SAQA operates in line with the principles of the
National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and according to
international best practice.
To apply for the evaluation of foreign qualifications, study the
procedural guidelines and tariff structure contained in theApplication

Educational Qualifications (CEEQ).

Steps to follow
- Obtain the application form from SAQA.
- Complete the application form.
Provide legible and certified true copies of certificates,
academic records or transcripts (for all higher education
qualifications). Certificates in foreign languages must be accompanied by sworn
translations into English. Note that SAQA needs both the document
in the original language and the sworn translation.
