Description
Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) is an outcomes-based
programme that aims to provide basic learning tools, knowledge and
skills, and that equips participants with nationally recognised
qualifications. (Source

Anyone who did not complete mainstream schooling, mainly adults
who want to attain qualifications in a flexible environment, may
register with any ABET centre. The ABET centres may conduct
placement tests to determine whether you, the learner, are at level
one, two or three.
